2 Films Announced for Greater Farmington Film Festival

We’re pleased to share the news about 2 of the films that will be part of the Greater Farmington Film Festival in March. These films are fantastic and inspiring and you will not want to miss them!

The film opening the festival on Thursday, March 6th is “Reject“:

“At the essence of this film is the idea that social rejection has a profound impact on human life. We on the film team believe that REJECT will come at a time when there is an urgent need in our society to address this—in our homes, in our schools, in the workplace and various institutions.” Ruth Thomas-Suh, Director

The second film we’re announcing now is “Wadjda“:

“It’s always fascinating to discover what can make us happy, both as moviegoers and citizens of the world. WADJDA does the trick…funny and touching in equal measure.”
-Joe Morgenstern, WALL STREET JOURNAL

Good Films for a Better World

As you probably know by now, the Greater Farmington Film Festival is coming up in March. The aim of the festival is to inspire audiences to action, to make their communities and world a better place.

We’re finalizing the films and will have information to share about that soon but for now we’ll share a trailer from an upcoming film that, unfortunately, won’t be part of our festival.

The film “Gimme Shelter” stars Vanessa Hudgens as a pregnant teenager who runs away from an abusive parent and seeks out her biological father. It’s based on a true story. The film will be in theaters later this month.
