Do You Want a More Vibrant and Diverse Arts Scene in Our Community?

Over the last two months, in a series of posts, we’ve considered what is missing from the arts scene in Farmington/Farmington Hills to make it more vibrant.

We wrote about the need for a performing arts center to be built in downtown Riley Park in FarmingtonFarmington, along with the need for some alternative cinema options, a cool, hip, café that supports the arts, a dynamic art gallery space (or two), a public arts project to add fun & poetry to our neighborhoods, the need for some creative writers and gadflies, and artist live/work spaces. Last week we considered the need for a summer music festival in one of our beautiful parks.

Now it’s your turn. Let us know what you think. What arts events and activities would you like to see in the community?

What do you think is missing from the cultural and arts scene in Farmington and Farmington Hills?

Would you like to get involved in supporting the arts in our community?
