What to do in Farmington/Farmington Hills this Week (7/7/14): Rock, Soul, Swing, Funk, and More Family Fun

Check out some of the great arts & cultural Riley Park in Farmingtonevents to look forward to in the Farmington/Farmington Hills community this week:

Wednesday, July 9th, at 7:00 pm: Family Fun in Riley Park with Randy Kaplan, “the current king of the story song.”

Thursday, July 10th, at 7:00 pm: The summer concert series at Heritage Park (24915 Farmington Road) continues with Rock and Soul.

Thursday, July 10th, at 7:30 pm: Swing Farmington takes over the Pavilion in downtown Farmington.

Third Coast KingsFriday, July 11th, at 7:00 pm: Rhythmz in Riley Park summer outdoor concert series with Third Coast Kings, an eight-element outfit from Ann Arbor. They remain true to the style and technique of proper deep funk & soul. Due to construction in Riley Park the concert will be held at the gazebo in front of Farmington Place on Grand River Ave.

Now through July 19th: Exhibition of work by sculptor Bernadette Marcos at the City Gallery in the Costick Center at 28600 W. Eleven Mile Rd.
