What to do in Farmington/Farmington Hills this Week (7/14/14): It’s all about Founders Festival

It’s Founders Festival time so check out some of the great arts & cultural Riley Park in Farmingtonevents to look forward to in the Farmington/Farmington Hills community this week:

Thursday, July 17th, at 7:00 pm: The summer concert series at Heritage Park (24915 Farmington Road) continues with Atlas Jazz, featuring vocalist Anna Givens, performing a wide variety of jazz, R & B, and rock.

Thursday, July 17th, through Sunday, July 20th: Greater Farmington Founders Festival, featuring the following events and activities:

  • Great music at several venues and stages, including at Riley Park and the Governor Warner Mansion.
  • Beer tent
  • Alley Regalley, featuring fine wine and great music
  • The Botsford parade on Saturday morning
  • Movies Under the Stars in Shiawassee Park on Friday night (Mary Poppins) and Saturday night (Pitch Perfect).
  • Meijer Kids Zone
