KickstART Gallery Call for Art

Emergence

KickstART Gallery in Farmington, Michigan, is seeking artist entries for their first annual call for art exhibition to be held September 1 – October 30, 2021.

Emergence is the process of coming into view or becoming exposed after being concealed. After more than a year of uncertainty many of us are emerging from one type of isolation or another and longing for “normalcy”. But what does it mean to you to emerge? What will you bring with you and what will you leave behind? Have you grown or changed or will you emerge the same? Artists are invited to consider issues like collective trauma, recovery, fear, isolation, community, togetherness, love, transition, hope.

This call is open to artists residing in Michigan and the entry fee is $25.00 for three pieces or $40.00 for five pieces.
