KickstART Farmington is planning to hire a part-time Education Coordinator.
The Education Coordinator for KickstART will be responsible for organizing arts classes and workshops for youth and adults, in a variety of artistic practices and disciplines, from drawing and painting to dance and film, and more.
The Education Coordinator’s primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying qualified instructors for classes, scheduling classes (based on availability at KickstART during closed hours) and contracting with instructors (with contract terms pre-approved by director and KickstART board).
- Writing copy for class descriptions with instructor bio and providing this information to director for website and promotional purposes.
- Monitoring class signups and corresponding, as necessary, with registrants, and providing a summary of class evaluations.
- Ensuring that all classes have a KickstART staff member (director or board member) to set up and welcome participants.
The Education Coordinator will work approximately 4-5 hours per week (with no more than 20 hours per month), receive a stipend of $20/hour, and report to the Executive Director.Â
