Check out some of the fun arts events to look forward to in the Farmington/Farmington Hills community this week:
Monday, February 17th, at 6:30 PM: the Farmington Community Library at 32737 W 12 Mile Road presents the feature film 42: The True Story of an American Legend, about legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson, in celebration of Black History Month.
Monday, February 17th, at 6:30 PM: the Farmington Community Library at the Farmington branch on Liberty Street presents the feature film Monsters University for Family Picnic Movie Night.
Performances of the Assassins continue at the Farmington Players. “This deliciously dark Stephen Sondheim musical explores the minds and motives of the nine men and women who have attempted to assassinate the President of the United States. The show uses the premise of a murderous carnival game to produce a revue-style portrayal of these real life assassins, from John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald.“
