Monday, February 17th, at 6:30 PM: the Farmington Community Library at 32737 W 12 Mile Road presents the feature film 42: The True Story of an American Legend, about legendary baseball player Jackie Robinson, in celebration of Black History Month.

Monday, February 17th, at 6:30 PM: the Farmington Community Library at the Farmington branch on Liberty Street presents the feature film Monsters University for Family Picnic Movie Night.

Tuesday, February 18th, at 4:00 PM: a screening of the documentary film Soul Food Junkies at Oakland Community College, Orchard Ridge.

GFFF Preview and AuctionWednesday, February 19th, from 6:00-9:00 pm: the City of Farmington Hills Cultural Arts Division and kickstART farmington host a preview and auction night for the Greater Farmington Film Festival. Enjoy some wine and treats, watch film trailers, and meet REJECT film producer Peter Brauer .

AssassinsPerformances of the Assassins continue at the Farmington Players.  “This deliciously dark Stephen Sondheim musical explores the minds and motives of the nine men and women who have attempted to assassinate the President of the United States. The show uses the premise of a murderous carnival game to produce a revue-style portrayal of these real life assassins, from John Wilkes Booth to Lee Harvey Oswald.
