If you haven’t heard of a “cash mob” now is the time!
According to cashmob.com, “The concept is simple: with $20 in hand, members of a community come together to shop in a locally-owned establishment to support their favorite local business and support the area economy.”
Why is this important? Well, these businesses are owned by your friends and neighbors, often employ your friends and neighbors, are often more committed to the community good, and more of their profits remain within the community.
