Monday, January 19th, 9:00 AM through 4:00 PM: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day events at the Farmington Community Library, including keynote presentation with LaNesha DeBardelaben from Charles H. Wright
 Museum of African American History, poet Ber-Henda Williams, and storytelling with Miz Rosie.

Tuesday, January 20th, 7:00 PM: Farmington Hills Writers’ Group, for writers of all levels and writing styles looking to improve and discuss their craft, at the Farmington Community Library on 12 Mile.

Thursday, January 22nd, 8:00 PM: Swing Farmington at St John Lutheran Church, 23225 Gill Rd. The January Lesson Series with Garret Urban is followed by open dance starting at 8:30 pm.
