“NOTES FROM A BLACKBIRD” Exhibition at KickstART

KickstART Farmington is pleased to present NOTES FROM A BLACKBIRD: ART AS COMMON GROUND, an exhibition at the KickstART Gallery in partnership with Blackbird Gallery in Farmington Hills.

The exhibition runs through April 5th, 2025. Please join us for the opening reception on Friday, March 7th, from 5-8 pm at KickstART Gallery, 23616 Farmington Road.

The exhibition features work by seventeen artists represented by Blackbird Gallery, including Jide Aje, Gil Ashby, Raji Mohammad Babtunde, Cheryl Barill, Gigi Boldon, Andra Daans, Mikel Elam, Lori Ellsworth, Cheryl Haithco, Richard Halprin, Henry Heading, Nicole Josette, Robert Ketchens, Sheefy McFly, Steffanie Samuels, Dawn Stringer, and Shirley Woodson.

Pamela Eatman, owner of Blackbird Gallery, states that NOTES FROM A BLACKBIRD: ART AS COMMON GROUND “celebrates the profound ability of art to transcend cultural barriers and unite diverse communities.This exhibition invites you to embark on a transformative journey through the myriad stories and visions that artists from various nationalities share, reflecting the rich tapestry of human experience.”

KickstART Gallery is open Wednesday (10-2pm), Thursday & Friday (12-8pm), and Saturday (10-4pm).
