Wildly Fabled | Robyn Wall

Join us Sept 23-Oct 31, 2026 for the work of Robyn Wall. Robyn is a self-taught watercolor artist based in Southeast Michigan whose work is inspired by storytelling, fantasy, and the natural world.

Influenced by her father’s love of literature, her grandmother’s paintings, and the stories that filled her childhood, Robyn creates imaginative worlds where fantasy, realism, and the surreal come together.

Working in watercolor, gouache, and mica, her vibrant paintings feature powerful female figures, mythical creatures, and elements of nature—inviting viewers into worlds filled with beauty, mystery, and wonder.

Exploring the Magic Within

My work explores the place where reality, memory, imagination, and mythology meet.

Through fantastical figures, creatures, and natural elements, I explore themes of identity, femininity, biodiversity, neurodivergence, resilience, and the human experience. Fantasy gives me a way to transform personal and complex subjects into something unexpected and beautiful.

Each painting begins a story, but I leave space for the viewer to finish it. My hope is that these imagined worlds awaken curiosity, invite wonder, and remind us that there is a little magic within all of us.
