Monday, June 2nd, at 7:00 pm: “Bands in the Park”, featuring the East Middle School Seventh Grade Band under the direction of David Drake, the Farmington High School Band under the direction of Mike Steele, and the Harrison High School Band, under the direction of Joel Yoder. At Heritage Park (24915 Farmington Road).
Thursday, June 5th at 7:00 PM: A screening of The Great Detroit, a documentary that examines the positive aspects of Detroit. The film is produced by native Detroiter Anthony Brogdon. At the Farmington Civic Theater.
Thursday, June 5th, at 7:30 pm: Swing Farmington takes over the Pavilion in downtown Farmington.
Friday, June 6th, at 7:00 pm: The Friends of the Farmington Community Library gather at the Farmington Hills branch for their annual gala event, featuring a performance of The American Song Book, by the Michigan Opera Theatre.
Saturday, June 7th, from 10:oo am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday, June 8th, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm: Art on the Grand. Great art and activities all along Grand River in downtown Farmington.
Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th: Join kickstART farmington and the Farmington Area Junior Chamber at Art on the Grand at our tent near Starbucks in downtown Farmington. Learn about our organizations and take part in the “My Hero Video Project” and share a story or vignette about someone who inspires you.
Saturday, June 7th, at 9:15 pm: The Greater Farmington Film Festival and kickstART farmington, in partnership with the Farmington Civic Theater presenting a FREE, outdoor screening of the film Hugo (directed by Martin Scorsese), at the west end of Shiawassee Park in Farmington.
